Problems with electric lawnmower?
Today I was using my electric lawnmower and it stopped working. I learned that in attempting to turn it on, the control panel in my basement is turned off power to the outlet that the mower is connected. If anyone knows what is wrong please post, thanks! It runs at 10 amps I have plugged in a lot of outlets in dfferent and keeps tripping circuit …. any advice?
An electric mower can take a lot of current, both in the implementation of the surge and when running in the resistance to cutting the grass. This current increase could cause the power switch to trip-making. Most of the output circuits are supplied with a 15 to 20 amp breaker. If everything else is connected and turned on the switch of the same, the mower could easily make you trip. Try connecting the mower in another take on another part of the house. Or, disconnect or turn off electrical charges that are connected to points that are fed by the same switch (the things that go off when the switch trips).
